HIKVISION DOME DS-2CE70DOT-PTLXTS 2MP FULL COLOR 2 WAY TALK CAMERA

The Hikvision DS-2CE70D0T-PTLXTS is a versatile 2.0MP fixed PT (Pan/Tilt) dome camera that blends high-definition imaging with proactive security features, making it ideal for residential, retail, and small business applications. Despite being part of Hikvision’s analog Turbo HD lineup, it delivers crisp 1080p Full HD video through a 2.8mm fixed lens, providing a wide 103° field of view to monitor large indoor or outdoor areas effectively.

Designed for durability, the camera features an IP66-rated weatherproof and IK10-rated vandal-resistant housing, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments—from heavy rain to attempted tampering. Its EXIR 2.0 infrared technology offers clear night vision up to 20 meters (65 ft), maintaining 24/7 surveillance even in complete darkness.

What sets the DS-2CE70D0T-PTLXTS apart is its integrated active deterrence capabilities. It supports two-way audio with an external microphone and speaker (sold separately), enabling real-time communication—whether to warn off trespassers or assist visitors. Coupled with a built-in, remotely triggerable siren, the camera shifts from passive observation to active intervention, significantly enhancing security effectiveness.

The camera leverages Hikvision’s Turbo HD 5.0 technology, allowing transmission of high-quality video over coaxial cable up to 800 meters without signal degradation. It’s compatible with multiple analog video formats (TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS), ensuring seamless integration with existing analog or hybrid DVR systems. Smart features like motion detection, line crossing, and intrusion detection help reduce false alarms and focus attention on genuine security events.

Installation is straightforward thanks to its flexible PT (Pan/Tilt) design, which allows easy adjustment of the viewing angle without re-mounting the entire unit. While often mistaken for an IP camera due to its advanced features, it operates on analog infrastructure, offering a cost-effective upgrade path for users seeking modern functionality without overhauling their entire system.
